They shall be applicable to all the described services detail in this web site and shall remain the binding deal with each others rights and obligations. Booking requests shall be made one month prior to the arrival of the clients. Tour-bookings will be valid consequent to SATT confirmation of the booking by fax, email or letter. At the time of confirmation, a deposit of 25% of the total cost is requested. Stone Age regrets that if the payment is not received on time may cancel the booking. The remaining amount of the total cost shall be paid 30 days before the commencement of the tour.
Stone Age must receive 25% of all payment within at least 30 days before the arrival date. To book last minute tours, the tourist agent shall pay the whole amount upon arrival before the beginning of the tour. In case Stone Age is not getting the agreed amount from the agent his clients lose the right cannot use the tour services.
Unless prior arrangements have been made, SATT is not indebted to conduct the tour if complete payment has not been received. The agent reserves the right to alter the tour services which does not affect the standard and occupation. The agent will notify in writing and obtain binding acceptance of this change from Stone Age about the changes before selling the tour services.
Cancellation of tour bookings must be made in writing, and are subject to the following charges. From 30 days to 15 days prior to departure an administrative fee of US$50.00 per group will be made. 15 days to 7 days prior to departure, a fee of 25% of the total tour price will be charged. Cancellations made within the last 15 days prior to departure, no refund will be made.
If you change the number of people for whom you have booked. The price prior given will be re-calculated for the new party size. This charge means an increase in the price per person of the remaining passengers. If you make any changes whole on holiday (e.g. upgrading your accommodation or extending your stay) all requests are subject to availability and any extra costs must be paid locally.
Only the laws of Ethiopia govern SATT’s liability to passengers transported in its own vehicles and all claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the court of Ethiopia in which the cause of action arises. Although every possible care is taken to safeguard you and your property, SATT accepts no liability for loss or damage of any personal effects. SATT will dispose its best efforts to assist visitors when dealing with third parties such as hotels, air lines and other transport companies and travel agents. However, SATT cannot be held responsible for any loss or harm such as sickness, injury, death or additional costs incurred due to denied boarding, overbooking, cancellation or delay caused by the third party.
Tour prices can be provided upon request. Prices are not fixed but depend on infrastructure prices (depending on the season), hotel, salary and fuel prices and currency exchange rates. Stone Age Tour has the right to adapt an earlier given price up to 35 days before commencement of the Tour. After payment of the total Tour price by the client(s), no adaptations will be made.
Note: – If there is a change on Entrance fee and fuel from the concerned body before the arriving date of the tourist, SATT will add up the change on the prices given for each tourist.
